How will my card work?
Once you have printed your FREE HaloRx Card, simply take it to a participating pharmacy when obtaining prescriptions, and you are assured to automatically receive the best price for covered medications.
How do I know what pharmacies are participating?
The pharmacy web tools are available 24/7 to locate participating pharmacies across the U.S. Also, before visiting the pharmacy, you can search the retail pharmacy drug pricing, and compare it to the pricing for equivalent alternative drugs.
Do I have to be insured?
Any insured or non-insured individual is able to use HaloRx.
Do I have to register my card before using it?
No. Cardholders simply take the card to a participating pharmacy, and the pharmacist will register the card at that time.
Is HaloRx insurance?
No. HaloRx is not insurance nor is it intended to replace insurance. A cardholder that is covered by health insurance will probably receive the greatest benefit by using his or her health insurance prescription card – but it may be beneficial to compare your options.
Can a health insurance prescription card be used at the same time with HaloRx?
No. Only one card can be used when filling a prescription. However, if a prescription is not covered under a particular plan, then someone may go to a participating network pharmacy and use the HaloRx prescription card to obtain a discount on covered drugs.
Are there limits on usage?
No. A cardholder may use HaloRx as often as needed.
Is there an expiration date for HaloRx?
No. There is no termination date for the card.
